• This My Bible First Elementary School Bible Curriculum helps children in grades 2–5 (ages 7–10) learn to love the Bible and incorporate its principles into their lives.
• You can complete the curriculum in three school years.
  • Year 1 (booklets 1–6): Creation to David
  • Year 2 (booklets 7–12): King David through part of Jesus’ life
  • Year 3 (booklets 13–18): The rest of Jesus’ life, Acts, second coming / heaven
  • Each year is divided into 156 lessons contained in six student reader booklets:
• Download an overview chart of the entire curriculum.
• Each year includes six matching student workbooks and six matching teaching-help booklets.
• You also receive an answer key booklet.

About the Bible lesson booklets:

• Each Bible lesson reading booklet includes:
  • A table of contents
  • A list of memory verses
  • Bible lessons and matching nature stories
• The curriculum divides the lessons into groups of three:
  • It follows every pair of Bible lessons with a nature story that reinforces the Bible lesson.
  • It pairs a memory verse with each set of three lessons.
• In each school year, children learn 52 memory verses.
• The curriculum sets all of the memory verses to music.
• The lessons are designed for easy teaching:
  • Let the children read verses and answer questions from their own Bibles.
  • If children don’t know how to find verses yet, help them learn how to find them.

About the student workbooks:

The workbook has additional questions at two different levels:

1. 1. The “Do You Remember” questions can be easily answered directly from the lesson. Younger children can answer these questions orally.
   2. The “Digging Deeper” questions are designed for older children who would like a greater challenge. Since these take more time, you may consider only assigning some of these questions to older children.

About the teaching aids and supplied pictures:

• The teaching includes an outline for each pair of Bible lessons.
• In the “teaching aids” box, you can find guidance on when to use the Supplied Pictures (L2 codes) and suggested visuals.
• The teaching aids also include reproducible activity sheets that review each lesson pair.
• Consider assigning these activity sheets on the same days you do the nature lesson.
• The sheets come in two levels: Kindergarten (left page) and Primary (right page). Use whichever level best fits your students.
• In the back of the book, you can find reproducible decorative sheets for copying the memory verses.
